Dolph Ziggler is considered as one of the top in-ring workers in the company, as he goes out of his way to ensure his opponents look great. Despite this, quite a few fans have said over the years that Ziggler is underrated and has not been utilized to the best of his potential.

Earlier this month, Dolph Ziggler competed against Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa in a triple threat match for the NXT Title at the NXT Roadblock event. Ziggler ended up winning the match and won the NXT Championship.

While speaking on After The Bell podcast, Dolph Ziggler talked about his NXT Title win, which was a last-minute decision. Ziggler expressed his frustration at not getting to do what he wants in WWE.

“It’s not even, ‘You don’t always get to do what you want to do.’ It’s, ‘You rarely get to do what you want to do.’ You might be a champion one day, and then the next day, you’re not on the show.

It’s like, ‘We need to get this Roman-Brock story on. This is the part, and we need you to do this, this, and this, and you’re gonna have to sacrifice a few other pieces.’ A lot of times, two thirds of the roster is being sacrificed. and you go, ‘That’s going to be you no matter whether you’re new or old.’”

Dolph Ziggler will be defending his NXT Title against Bron Breakker at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2nd. By the looks of it, Ziggler might not end up retaining the NXT Championship at the event.
