Goldberg is considered a legend by many fans and he is also a WWE Hall of Famer. The former WWE Universal Champion might not have been a fan of pro wrestling at first but eventually came to appreciate it as an art form. Bret Hart also took a shot at Goldberg recently.
WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart had bitter feelings about Goldberg for several years. This is because Bret Hart suffered a concussion after Goldberg hit him with a botched kick during a match at Starrcade in 1999.
Due to this, Bret Hart suffered post-concussion syndrome, which effectively ended his in-ring career. Bret Hart went on record and said that Goldberg’s work rate was “0/10.”
While speaking during a virtual signing for Signed By Superstars, Hart recalled Natalya telling him that Brock Lesnar’s dream match would be against Hart. Bret Hart took the opportunity to take a shot at Goldberg as well.
“Always heard Brock was a good worker. I’ve never heard that [Lesnar was stiff in the ring]. Always heard just the opposite, that he looks stiff, but he’s a real pro in the ring. Totally the opposite of Goldberg.”
We will never know how much pro wrestling would have been different had Bret Hart still been able to wrestle and not get injured at the hands of Goldberg. Regardless, Bret Hart had previously forgiven Goldberg for what he did as well but that doesn’t mean he won’t take shots at Goldberg by the looks of it.
