Xavier Woods has been with The New Day since day one. The King of The Ring 2021 returned to in-ring competition tonight on SmackDown. It is worth mentioning that Woods had been out due to a plantaris muscle injury.

Woods made his televised comeback in a match against Ridge Holland. He made quick work of Holland and pinned him in a matter of minutes. This was his first televised match since the January 7th episode of SmackDown.

The Usos defeated Woods and Kingston to retain the blue brand’s tag team titles in a street fight. Woods was put off WWE television to recover from the plantaris muscle injury in his calf.

We’ll have to see what WWE does with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston on the road to WrestleMania. With Big E out of the WrestleMania picture, the two have to carry forward with The New Day act.
