Ricochet has been regarded as one of the best in-ring competitors in the history of WWE. His excellent series of matches last year raised his stock in the eyes of fans. He also wants to square off against Mustafa Ali at WrestleMania 38. This is despite the fact that Ali requested his release from the company, something they have yet to grant him.
The One And Only has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer and made a name for himself in various promotions. This is especially the case in NJPW and Lucha Underground.
Ricochet is currently the Intercontinental Champion after beating Sami Zayn to become the champion. While speaking with WWE Deutschland, Ricochet was asked whom he’d like to face at WrestleMania 38. Ricochet named a few notable opponents, including Mustafa Ali.
I mean Cedric (Alexander) would be a good one, (Mustafa) Ali would be a good one. Obviously, Rey Mysterio would be a good one, Seth Rollins would be a good one. I mean there’s so many people, there’s so many guys.”
Mustafa Ali hasn’t been seen on WWE television since he had requested his release from WWE. We’ll have to see whether Ricochet and Ali will duke it out at WrestleMania 38 or not.
