Back in June of last year, WWE held another round of cuts from the company and it included several big names. This also included Fandango, who was a veteran in the company. Fans were distraught over this decision as well, and they’ll likely be sad that he is apparently hanging up his boots for good.

Fandango’s career peaked during his WrestleMania 29 match against Chris Jericho, where he would end up winning. Unfortunately, WWE never utilized Fandango to his full potential.

Following his release from WWE, Fandango changed his name to  Dirty Dango and competed in promotions such as NWA. Fandango recently took to Twitter and officially announced that he will be retiring from pro wrestling for good after two months.

I’ll be stepping away from the ring in couple months . Goodbye forever .

It is never an easy decision to step away from something one loves and has been doing for a very long time. Regardless, Fandango has made up his mind and that is unlikely to change by the looks of it.
