Britt Baker’s growth as a pro wrestler has been one of the best in the AEW women’s division by far. Baker worked hard and eventually became one of the top stars in the entire company and not just the women’s division. She also has lofty goals and ambitions as well.
Britt Baker had a successful run as the AEW Women’s World Champion after beating Hikaru Shida for it at Double Or Nothing last year. Baker held it for almost 10 months but that changed recently.
Thunder Rosa defeated Britt Baker in a steel cage match on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and thus became the new AEW Women’s World Champion. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Britt Baker revealed that she still wants to be bigger and greater as a pro wrestler.
“I think I’m still kind of chasing it to a degree. I definitely – I recognize my accomplishments and I’m thankful and I’m appreciative of just my self-growth. But I just wanna be so much bigger and better than I am now. I fall into the trap sometimes that I set goals that maybe are a little bit brutal to achieve sometimes. And I’m also really stubborn with my goals too, but that’s also why I’m a wrestler and a dentist. So I’m – In my mind, the best is yet to come.”
We’ll have to wait and see what is next in store for Britt Baker now. It is likely the company still has big plans for her once she is back again.
