Bobby Lashley defended his WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match at the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on February 19th. During the match, the company wrote a concussion protocol angle to take him out of the match. This is because Lashley was legitimately injured since the Royal Rumble event.

Since then, Bobby Lashley has been absent from WWE television. While Lashley missed working the MSG event earlier this month, there was still a chance for him to compete at WrestleMania.

As previously reported, Bobby Lashley is currently expected to be Omos’ opponent at WrestleMania 38. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bobby Lashley is still not cleared for an in-ring return. Should Lashley not be able to make it for WrestleMania 38, WWE will have to act on contingency plans for Omos

WWE still hopes Bobby Lashley will be medically cleared in time for WrestleMania 38. It remains to be seen if Lashley really will be able to make it in time for WrestleMania 38 or not.
