Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, and Sean Waltman were inducted as a group in WWE Hall of Fame, and they could have seen a bit of a return. The nWo 4-Life Edition of WWE 2K22 is the most costly version of the game, featuring Hall, Nash, Hogan, and Waltman on the cover and WWE wanted to cash-in with their WrestleMania sponsor 2K Games.
According to Fightful Select, WWE had planned to invite two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall and other nWo members to WrestleMania Weekend in Dallas for a promotional segment for the new WWE 2K22 video game before he passed away last Monday.
There’s no news on whether the commercial spot would have aired on WrestleMania Saturday or Sunday, or what it would have included. It’s unclear whether WWE will still invite the other nWo members in, but the preparations were in place before to Hall’s death.
Ahead of Scott Hall’s passing, Fightful heard that WWE had planned to bring in him and other members of the New World Order to WrestleMania weekend for a promotional spot for their new WWE 2K22 game.
Hall passed away on Monday, March 14th, at the age of 63. He had previously fallen at home and experienced three heart attacks after a blood clot became dislodged while receiving surgery for a broken hip. Hall was then put on life support, but it was removed the next day. RIP.
