Sting Locks Down Trademarks For His Face Paint Design

Sting shocked the world when he made his debut in AEW back in December 2020. Since then he has been featured heavily on AEW television being paired up with Darby Allin. Despite being over 60, Sting certainly has been competing at an unexpectedly high level and that has certainly impressed fans and pro wrestlers alike.

Sting recently registered a variety of trademarks based on his unique face-paint design, that can be seen at the end of this article. The trademark will cover shirts, socks, hats and other apparels using the signature face-paint design. It will also cover action figures, toys and energy drinks.

According to PW Insider, the trademark filings were filed to lock down the Stinger’s legendary look.

Being one of the mainstays of WCW at its peak, Sting is well aware of how the current pro wrestling world differs from the WCW days. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Sting and Darby Allin as they came out to help Matt Hardy when he was getting beat down by Andrade and the rest of the Andrade Family Office.
