Robert Roode had a lot of steam when he debuted in Triple H’s NXT. Roode tasted championship gold shortly after his debut on the black and gold brand. Also, he had a ‘glorious’ theme song, but it went away eventually. That song made a return this week.

The former NXT champion brought back the classic theme during tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0. Roode has always been known to play mind games and him using his old theme going into the match against Bron Breakker is classic heel move.
Roode signed with the WWE in 2016. He won the brand’s top title after defeating Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio on January 28, 2017. Roode dropped the title to Drew McIntyre on August 19 at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.
He debuted on SmackDown the very same year. His only singles title win on the main roster came in 2018 when he won the United States Championship. Roode is currently tagging with NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler. Together, they are known as The Dirty Dawgs.
We’ll have to see if the Glorious entrance sticks around, but it was a very good addition to Roode’s return to the former black and gold brand.
