Omos is currently a force to be reckoned with in WWE. Even The Undertaker was highly impressed with Omos. The Phenom didn’t hold back at all while complementing the colossal Nigerian-American superstar. Before WrestleMania, reports surfaced that Omos was not doing well during his in-ring training. It seems his opponent for WrestleMania 38 has been revealed.
It has been confirmed who Omos will face at WrestleMania 38 next month. The WWE Raw star is expected to face an opponent who will ‘surprise’ some fans at the April 2-3 event, according to reports. Bobby Lashley was Omos’ anticipated opponent as of this weekend, according to Fightful Select.
During his WWE Championship encounter with Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble in January, Lashley suffered a shoulder injury. Last month, at Elimination Chamber, the All Mighty was written off the show. During his absence, it was rumored that Lashley was attempting to obtain medical clearance in time for WrestleMania 38.
With the exception of the 30-man Royal Rumble match, Omos has been promoted as a dominant figure since his separation from AJ Styles in December 2021, and hasn’t lost a match since. Since his Falls Count Anywhere match against Goldberg at Crown Jewel in October 2021, Lashley hasn’t lost a one-on-one bout.
Omos won a 25-Man Battle Royal at Survivor Series 2021 that was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Rock’s WWE debut. He dominated the free-for-all and eliminated 12 superstars, with Ricochet being the last man to get thrown out. WrestleMania Saturday (April 2) and WrestleMania Sunday (April 3) card announcements can be found here.
