We’re only a couple weeks away from WrestleMania and so each RAW becomes that much more important. As such, AJ Styles returns to RAW for the first time since Edge beat him senseless. Will Styles call Edge out tonight, or will he just hunt him down? Styles and Edge will be facing off, for the first-time ever, on WrestleMania Night 2.
Elsewhere tonight, Becky Lynch will address her vicious assault on Bianca Belair last week, RK-Bro face Alpha Academy in a non-title tag match, and Finn Balor faces Austin Theory in a non-title match. We can also expect more from Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, The Miz, the Mysterio’s, etc. And who knows, maybe one of these nights Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, or Steve Austin may show up!
That’s the preview for tonight’s RAW. Our live coverage will begin from 8PM right here. Let us know if you’re excited about any of it and remember to hit the refresh link below and enjoy the show!
This week’s Monday Night RAW opens with Stone Cold Steve Austin’s glass shattering and the crowd going nuts! However…
Owens comes to the ring dressed like Stone Cold, bald cap and all, and poses on the turnbuckles just as the Texas Rattlesnake would. Owens tells the fans if they’re ready to see him open a can of whoopass on that “sorry son of a bitch” Steve Austin at WrestleMania, to give him a Hell yeah! The fans boo and Owens says “what?” over and over. Owens then assumes the persona of Stone Cold and says he’s saw what Kevin Owens has been saying about him.
So he drove out to the desert in his crappy like golf cart and pretended to be a badass and accepted his challenge. And he did it without thinking because, to be honest, these days the lights are barely on and he doesn’t do much thinking. The fans start chanting for Austin and Owens says they must be “the dumbest sons of bitches he’s ever…” but Austin’s music hits and Owens craps himself. After a moment Owens starts laughing and says “fool me once, shame on you,. Fool me twice, shame on me.”
Owens then asks for beer and gets one thrown but he misses it. They throw another and he drops it too, much to the enjoyment of the crowd. Owens tells them to cut the music and tells the stagehand he sucks, then tels him to bring a beer into the ring and put it in his hand. Owens mocks the guy before hitting him with a Stunner, then gets in his face for some trash talk the way Austin would. Owens goes to drink a beer but instead throws it and poses on the top rope again.
We see a replay of last week where Seth Rollins tried to steal Kevin Owens’s idea for a talk-show at WrestleMania, only to lose to KO in the main event. Rollins is interviewed backstage and asked what his state of mind is about not having a WrestleMania match. The fans chant “Cody”. Rollins laughs before snatching the microphone and walking off.

The NXT Champion, Ziggler, starts against Dominik and gets taken down with an arm-drag. Dominik grabs the wrist and hits a springboard arm-drag that sends Dolph out of the ring. Dominik attempts a baseball slide but Ziggler avoids it and runs him into the apron. Ziggler gets Dominik back inside, tags Roode, and the duo hit a double-team backbreaker. Rey comes in and they clear the Dawgz from the ring before hitting suicide dives on them on the floor.
Suddenly Seth Rollins walks out to the stage and tells them to stop. The show can’t continue until he says so. He wants a spot at WrestleMania. And not just any spot, he wants a spot that will last forever. Rollins’s microphone keeps cutting out. He says he came for Austin last week but this week he wants something even bigger. Again his mircophone cuts out and he shouts that they’re trying to shut him up.
*Commercial Break*
We’re back live and the match is still underway and no sign of Seth Rollins. Ziggler wants a superplex but Mysterio fights him off and headbutts him, then kicks Roode off the apron. Rey hits a seated senton to Ziggler and both men are down. Rey hits an enziguiri and tries to make a tag but Roode rushes in and punches Dominik off the apron. Rey catches Roode with a tornado DDT and tags Dominik.
Dominik with a crossbody off the top, then a Frankensteiner to Roode. Dominik is sent to the apron but he snaps Roode’s neck on the ropes before hitting an Eddie Guerrero tope to Roode. Ziggler causes a distraction, allowing Roode to hit a spinebuster to Dominik for a near-fall. Dominik knocks Roode onto the middle rope and htis a 619, then goes up top and lands a frog splash for the win.
As soon as the match ends Miz grabs Rey and hits a Skull Crushing Finale on the floor, then rips Rey’s mask off! Dominik rushes out and gets a towel to cover his father’s face while the fans chant “you suck”.
Seth Rollins is with Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce backstage and he’s begging for a big spot at WrestleMania. pearce says him acting like a lunatic won’t get him what he wants. Rollins asks what will? Allowing those two buffoons to get him something? Deville reminds Rollins that he had a chance last week and he failed. Pearce says to leave it with him and he will see what he can do. Rollins just laughs.
*Commercial Break*
The Miz is on the phone to Maryse, bragging about taking Rey’s mask, when he’s stopped for an interview. Miz says Logan Paul was a huge Rey Mysterio fan when he was a kid, and all he wanted was a mask. Well Logan met his hero and realised Rey was a little jerk. Rey and Dominik tried to humiliate him and Paul, but tonight humliated the Mysterio’s. He and Paul are going to beat the Mysterio’s at WrestleMania, but before then he dares Logan to wear Rey’s mask on RAW.
We see a replay of Friday night’s SmackDown where Roman Reigns mocked Brock Lesnar, thinking he wasn’t there. Brock then showed-up at the arena and drove into the Bloodline’s car with a forklift. He then ripped the door off the pick-up truck they used to escape. Lesnar promised Roman that he’s coming for blood. Next week on RAW, Brock and Roman will be live.

Before the match starts, Azeez get on the apron to distract Omos, allowing Crews to rush up behind and dropkick him. Azeez grabs the legs but Omos shoves Apollo off and starts climbing over the ropes. Azeez gets Omos down on the floor and clubs at him, then Apollo gets out to help. Omos pins both men at the same time.
After the match Omos gets the microphone and says it doesn’t matter how many there are, or how big they are, all that matters is that he is undefeated. He asks someone to have the balls to step up to him on RAW or at WrestleMania and says it doesn’t matter who, they will be dominated.
*Commercial Break*
AJ Styles comes to the ring. The Phenomenal One says he’s been at home nursing his injuries with nothing but time on his hands. And if you have enough of it, time can be a dangerous thing. He watched the clip of Edge attacking him over-and-over until he went crazy. He didn’t want to talk to his family, he just wanted to be alone. Then Edge popped-up on the screen with his mood lighting and his nonsense about why he did what he did.
Styles says the fact is he doesn’t care why Edge did it. He’s here to kick Edge’s teeth down his throat. Edge wanted the pitbull, he’ll get it but they don’t have to wait until WrestleMania. Styles tells Edge to be a man and get out to the ring. AJ calls Edge a coward for not answering the call. Seth Rollins comes out and AJ doesn’t look too pleased. Rollins comes to the ring and the fans sing his theme music.
The fans chant for “Cody” but Seth says rumours don’t make moments. Styles tells him to cut the crap but Rollins says he’s out here because he’s concerned about his wellbeing. He asks if AJ is physically and emotionally capable of fighting Edge at WrestleMania? Seth tells AJ to go home and get to 100%, then come back and beat Edge… after WrestleMania. Allow Rollins to end Edge’s career on the grandest stage of them all.
Styles says Seth isn’t taking his spot at WrestleMania ando long as he can walk he will be there. Rollins asks if he can have the spot if AJ somehow can’t make it to WrestleMania? Styles says Rollins is doing the same thing to him he did to Owens last week. Seth says it sounds good to him and he’s running out of options. Styles says Seth is delusional if he thinks he’s going to give his spot up, but after he’s done with Edge he can take him out too.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come out and they say Rollins is going to get one last chance, because if he can beat AJ Styles tonight he will replace him at WrestleMania. Styles is furious and Rollins dances around the ring, until AJ drops him with a right hand. Styles pummels Rollins until he rolls out of the ring. This match will seemingly be our main event!
Zelina Vega approaches Carmella backstage, who is obsessed with her phone. Vega berates Carmella for caring more about her reality show and upcoming wedding than their WrestleMania match. Carmella says “blah, blah, blah” and Vega throws her phone away. Vega calls her a “bridezilla”, then Carmella says her phone cost more than the tacky crown on her head. Carmella then slapped Vega across the face, so Vega tackled her. They roll around on the ground until referees separte them.

We see a replay of Bianca Belair being attacked and injured on last week’s RAW – the jury is out on her WrestleMania status. The RAW Women’s Champion, Big Time Becky Lynch, comes to the ring with a steel chair in hand.
*Commercial Break*
Becky Lynch is sitting in the ring. She says there is a question she asks herself a lot: what does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? Of course, the world means something different to everyone. Fifteen long months she was gone and couldn’t hold the RAW Women’s Championship. And not because she was beaten, but because she relinquished it. And the longer she was gone, the more she knew she would do anything to get it back.
So this is what the man profits! She is glory, the prize at the top of the mountain. This is her world. And when she came back and the fans chose Bianca over her, she knew she would sell her soul to keep the title. Becky says Belair doesn’t have what it takes to beat her, and she will happily crush her throat to do it. Last week she promised she’d take her hair but she’s not here.
And maybe that’s because she put her there, or maybe it’s because Belair knows she’ll get beat and lose her soul in the process. She’s already sold hers and she’d do it every week if it meant keeping that belt on her shoulder. So what does it profit Bianca to gain the world and lose her soul? Becky will show her and the rest of the world at WrestleMania, if she can make it.
Austin Theory is interviewed backstage and he says Pat McAfee is a smart man because he apologised to him last week. Theory says Pat had a great career in the NFL but he has no business bieing in a wrestling ring. He says it’s a win-win for him because if he beats Pat at WrestleMania that’s a feather in his cap, but if he can’t his mentor, Vince McMahon, will fire Pat. Theory then says he’s facing Finn Balor tonight and he has so many selfies with an unconscious Balor that he’s running out of space, but he has room for at least one more.
*Commercial Break*

Rollins intercepts Styles in the corner, then AJ sprints at him but Seth moves and AJ headbutts the buckles hard. Rollins wants the count-out win but AJ gets back into the ring at the coutn of eight. Rollins stomps AJ and hits a neckbreaker for a two-count.
Rollins stares at the WrestleMania sign in frustration. He puts AJ in the corner and chops him before hanging him in the tree of woe and connecting with a dropkick for a near-fall.
