Jeff Hardy was released by WWE last year, which came as a shock for many. Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. There are also doubts over the longevity of The Hardys’ return in AEW.

After waiting for a long time after his WWE release, Jeff Hardy would finally make his debut a couple of weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. He reunited with his brother Matt for a few years and fans simply lost their minds after seeing them together again.

While speaking on his Drive Thru podcast, Jim Cornette talked about The Hardys’ return as a tag team in AEW. Cornette expressed his doubts over the longevity of their tag team run as well.

”Because it’s been what, three years, like the last time they got together five years ago, it had been three years. Honestly, I have to say that if the Hardy Boys had been together consistently for the past five years we might’ve been having a different conversation as I am not sure if either one of them would still be worth an actual major investment as the part of it is it’s new and the people are also smart enough to know this might be their last run so we could see the Hardys back together.”
