Hit Row member Top Dolla made the news frequently thanks to his numerous diss tracks and also his beef with the Young Bucks. He certainly had a lot of potential after being called up to the main roster. Top Dolla also claimed AEW never contacted him either.
During last year’s edition of the WWE Draft, Hit Row was called up to the WWE main roster, which certainly surprised many fans. The faction was part of Friday Night Smackdown and finally made their debut last year.
Unfortunately, B-Fab from Hit Row was let go back in November. It didn’t stop there as the company decided to release the remaining Hit Row members as well.
While speaking on The Wrestling Classic podcast, Top Dolla was asked about possibly making his way to AEW. Dolla claimed that AEW never contacted him about joining the company.
“I do not want to say that it is out of the picture. They just never called me and I’m not trying to go somewhere where I am not wanted, you know, 100%. I am really not worried about all that because the people that are mad that I made fun of their sneakers, they said worse things about other people so. And at the same exact time, like there are other people not just in AEW, but in WWE and in every wrestling promotion that have done way worse things than that. Yeah, OK, so let’s just call it like it is, right?”
Top Dolla also previously stated that he does not rule out making a return to WWE in the future. We’ll have to wait and see whether Top Dolla will make his way to AEW or not.
