The concept of the Forbidden Door has been making headlines in the past couple of years, especially with AEW’s previous partnership with Impact Wrestling and NJPW. Since then Impact Wrestling has worked with a variety of companies as well. AEW has once again started a working relationship with another pro wrestling company.

AEW President Tony Khan previously made it clear the Forbidden Door will return and it certainly did, as NJPW star Jay White made his debut on AEW television earlier this year.

AEW is always looking to work with more promotions and it seems that has happened again. Japanese pro wrestling promotion DDT Pro Wrestling took to Twitter and uploaded a video of AEW’s VP of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels. Daniels announced that both companies are now in a working relationship.

Announcement! AEW’s VP of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels has a message! @facdaniels AEW and DDT have come to an agreement to bring DDT’s wrestlers to USA and he can’t wait to show the American audience the best of DDT! #JudgementDDT#ddtpro#AEW

It remains to be seen which pro wrestlers will make their way to AEW as part of the Forbidden Door now that AEW is also working with DDT Pro Wrestling.
