Ricardo Rodriguez had a run with WWE that lasted for several years. Ricardo served as the personal ring announcer for Alberto Del Rio. Later, Rodriguez served as a Spanish language commentator for WWE pay-per-views. Since then, Ricardo has been the Spanish voice of All Elite Wrestling.

Rodriguez has been open about his history of alcohol problems. In 2020, he checked into a rehab facility at a difficult time. The COVID-19 pandemic was just beginning to make its presence felt as the world shut down for a period.

Ricardo Rodriguez completed that stint in rehab. A year later, he celebrated 365 days of sobriety. In a recent tweet, Ricardo revealed that he is once again seeking treatment to deal with his alcohol issue.
