Ringside News has been staying up on this story with exclusive details. We reported last week that the creative team was not told about plans for Rhodes, and his deal is being kept very quiet. This is a top secret situation right now. That being said, it was heavily implied that a deal was done.

PW Insider has confirmed that the American Nightmare signed a new deal with WWE. It was inked within the last two weeks.

Cody Rhodes has signed with WWE, multiple WWE sources have confirmed.  Rhodes inked his deal about 10-14 days ago.

This is a big deal for WWE as they pulled in a former AEW executive vice president. We’ll have to see what the future holds in this situation, but Cody Rhodes is on his way back to WWE.
