WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin‘s influence in the pro wrestling business cannot be understated. Austin was instrumental in ushering in the Attitude Era and even now, his name has a lot of value. Austin also doesn’t rule out competing in one more match.

It was previously reported that WWE was discussing a WrestleMania 38 angle for Steve Austin. Ringside News exclusively reported that a match was never really in the cards, but a KO Show segment is what will happen now.

Steve Austin emphatically answered Kevin Owens’ challenge and the segment was then made official. While speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, The Texas Rattlesnake said never say never when it comes to having one last match.

“In this business, never say never. I said I would never get in, but prompted by the right person at the right time, hell, I wish he (Kevin Owens) would have pissed me off a little sooner than he did to give me more time to prep.”

Steve Austin’s last match was against The Rock at WrestleMania 19 in 2003. It was also said that Steve Austin is getting back into in-ring shape. We’ll have to see if Austin will end up competing in one last match or not.
