Ring Of Honor shocked the pro wrestling world to its core when it announced that it was going to undergo a reimagining last year. This led to the company releasing all of its talents at the same time. Damian Priest thinks Tony Khan purchasing ROH is a good thing as well.

AEW President Tony Khan previously announced that he had purchased the entirety of Ring Of Honor. Since then, his purchase of the company has become one of the hottest topics of discussion in the pro wrestling world.

Damian Priest also worked in Ring Of Honor a few years ago, where he was known as Punishment Martinez. While speaking on SHAK Wrestling, Damian Priest was asked about Khan’s purchase of ROH. Priest stated that he believes it is a good thing for everybody involved.

“With the purchase, it’s good. It’s going to stay alive. That’s good for the business. That’s good for everybody. And at least that legacy of Ring of Honor won’t die, you know what I mean? I think that’s always, that’s cool. And I don’t know whatever plans they have but hopefully, it just continues giving people opportunities for a platform to enjoy their lives and follow their dreams. So I’m all for it. I’m happy that things didn’t just fade away for that brand.”

Tony Khan will also personally book the ROH Supercard of Honor event next month. We’ll have to see just how much Ring Of Honor will benefit under Tony Khan’s leadership.
