Dolph Ziggler is touted as one of the top in-ring workers in the company, and he is currently the NXT Champion. The Show-Off makes sure to give it his all and make any opponent look good in the process. However, many fans have said over the years that Ziggler is underrated and has not been utilized as well as he should be.
As seen on last week’s episode of NXT Roadblock, Dolph Ziggler shockingly defeated Bron Breakker to become the new NXT Champion. This garnered a mixed response from fans as well.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked which current WWE Superstar would be a good fit in the nWo. Bischoff made it clear that he believes Dolph Ziggler would’ve been a great fit.
“Dolph Ziggler has always been at the top of my list. I think he’s one of the most underrated talents in WWE. I see this cat and he reminds me so much of Kurt Angle. In the sense that he’s got so much range, he can be a comedic, pain in the ass, smarmy heel or he can be a legitimate badass killer. He can do one night and one the next night and there’s not a lot of people that have that kind of range.”
With NXT Stand & Deliver set to take place on April 2nd at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, it is likely fans will get to see Bron Breakker beating Ziggler for the NXT Championship. We’ll have to see if that will happen or not.
