AEW’s roster is full of talented wrestlers, consisting of both veterans and the younger generation of talents. This includes Wardlow, who has been a been a dominant force in AEW since his debut a couple of years ago.
Wardlow also won the Face Of The Revolution Ladder match at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. After that he also betrayed MJF, costing him the Dog Collar match against CM Punk.
Wardlow then proceeded to cut a promo on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Wardlow talked about how he is finally free and put the whole AEW locker room on notice.
Fans were surprised by how good the promo turned out to be. While speaking to Rick Uchhino of Bleav in Pro Wrestling Podcast, Wardlow talked about finally getting an opportunity to cut promos. Wardlow made it clear that he is exicted to show off his mic skills.
“I was very excited to show that and I’m excited to have the opportunity to have a microphone in my hand more often. But yeah man, I’m just ready to be myself. I’ve had to be the silent bodyguard… and realistically there is a side of me that is very quiet and to myself.
But, I’m ready just to show the world every aspect of Wardlow. And everything that I can do, because I have so much more to give than what people have seen.”
Wardlow is set to challenge Scorpio Sky for the TNT Championship on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We’ll have to see if Mr. Mayhem will be able to win the title or not.
