Shad Gaspard tragically lost his life in May of 2020 when he sacrificed himself to save his son. The two were swept away by a strong rip current while in the ocean at Venice Beach, California. He might also be acknowledged during this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony.
He was one half of Cryme Tyme, who were one of the most popular tag teams in WWE during the late 2000s and early 2010s along with JTG. The two were released from WWE as they were still building steam, a decision that is still highly debatable for fans.
Brad Shepard took to Twitter and stated that one of his sources told him that Shad Gaspard will be acknowledged in some way at the WWE Hall Of Fame this year.
A source in #WWE told me to expect the WWE Hall of Fame to acknowledge Shad Gaspard in some way.I am told they plan on doing something nice for him, but I don’t have specifics yet.
For numerous years now, Brad Shepard has successfully broken the inductions of several big names such as JBL, Mark Henry, Goldberg, British Bulldog, Brutus Beefcake and many more.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will acknowledge Shad Gaspard at the ceremony. Gaspard’s courage and selflessness will never be forgotten and that is what matters in the end.
