Rok-C has been creating a buzz for months as fans anticipated the former Ring of Honor Women’s Champion signing with one of the major wrestling promotions. Booker T claimed earlier that WWE had already signed Rok-C to a contract. That report was premature, and Booker had to walk back the statement. It appears a deal is now officially done.

Rok-C recently attended a WWE tryout. Many within the company have been pushing for her to get a contract. It seemed like a matter of time before a deal was officially worked out.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider has now reported that a deal is done. Rok-C was one of the most sought-after talents coming out of Ring of Honor’s women’s division. Now she will join WWE, where she will be expected to help flesh out a depleted roster.

Rok-C won the ROH women’s title at Death Before Dishonor in the finals of a tournament to determine the champion. At the most recent ROH show, Final Battle, she defeated Willow Nightingale to defend the championship. Deonna Purrazzo won the belt on a recent episode of Impact.

There was interest in Rok-C from WWE even before her tryout. The company has been very picky about signing established wrestlers lately. Rok-C appears to be one of the few exceptions.

There has not been any official announcement from WWE regarding the signing. There are several options for how the company can introduce her. It is possible that she could be repackaged. Time will tell how WWE decides to use Rok-C once she finally arrives.
