Many fans would agree that Jeff Hardy is truly one of the most respected professional wrestlers in WWE’s history. Hardy made a career out of performing death-defying stunts for the entertainment of fans and it helped him win numerous titles as well. It seems Tony Khan commented on Jeff Hardy’s AEW debut as well.
After three months of anticipation and hype, Jeff Hardy made his debut on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Hardy came out and saved his brother Matt as well as Sting and Darby Allin from getting beat down by Andrade El Idolo, Private Party and The Butcher & The Blade.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, AEW President Tony Khan gave massive props to Jeff Hardy. Khan stated that he believes Jeff Hardy transcends age and experience.
“I do think he transcends age and experience in many ways. He’s someone that a lot of young wrestlers can learn a lot from in terms of connecting with the crowd. He’s also a fresh and exciting matchup for wrestlers in AEW. Not just in tag teams, but he’s a great singles wrestler, a former World Champion. Having Jeff Hardy in AEW is going to be huge for singles and tag teams. It’s going to be great for experienced wrestlers and people he’s been in the same company with before. Then you have a whole locker room of people that have never been in the same company that have been dreaming of this moment.”
The Hady Boyz also plan on going after the AEW World Tag Team Championships. It remains to be seen whether The Hardy Boyz will eventually become the AEW Tag Team Champions or not.
