Eddie Kingston made his AEW debut back in July of 2020, where he competed against Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship during his open challenge. While he was unsuccessful in the match, Kingston impressed many and signed with the company. It seems Eddie Kingston’s status after a recent scary bump has been revealed as well.

For a while now, Chris Jericho had been feuding with Eddie Kingston on AEW television. It culminated in an intense match at AEW Revolution, as both competitors gave it their all to win the match.

In the end, Eddie Kingston was victorious after he made Chris Jericho tap out. Following the conclusion of the match, Eddie Kingston offered to shake Jericho’s hand but Jericho declined and left the ring.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho turned heel and introduced a new faction, who laid waste to Eddie Kingston and Proud N Powerful. This included a spot where Jake Hager had trouble lifting Eddie Kingston up for a powerbomb from the apron onto a table outside.

Eddie Kingston had a scary landing and fans were concerned. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave a status update on Kingston following the scary bump as he said that Eddie Kingston is okay.

“From what I’m told Kingston is okay, but that was very scary.”

We are certainly glad Eddie Kingston is doing okay after that scary table bump. We will have to wait and see how Jericho and Kingston’s feud will be booked in the coming weeks from now on.
