Brock Lesnar was absent from WWE television after dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam last year, where he made his shocking return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns. Brock officially came back as a babyface, much to the delight of fans.

Ever since his initial return to the company in 2012, Brock Lesnar has been paid a ton of money as part of his contract. This has led to a lot of criticism from fans, who believe Lesnar’s sporadic appearances do not warrant the hefty salary he earns.

While speaking on The Michael Kay Show, Brock Lesnar gave a short reply as to why he made his return to WWE last year. It was ultimately because of the money.

“Cha-ching.”
