Peacock entered into a partnership with WWE back in March 2021. Looking back at their one year of working relationship, Peacock President Kelly Campbell is quite optimistic about the prospects of their collaboration.

Speaking with Vulture‘s Josef Adalian, Campbell talked about how things were working out with WWE. Obviously, Peacock is very happy with their investment.

“WWE has been an incredibly successful partnership for Peacock since launch. We invested in an incredible fan base that provides us the opportunity to bring those fans back time and time again with the massive live events that are part of the WWE franchise. We have WrestleMania, in fact, returning on April 3. This is already one of our biggest live events of the year.

“And we have an original series that I’m super-excited about featuring John Cena coming later this year called WWE Evil that I think will bring a fun new take on the space for this audience.”

WWE Evil is the new Peacock series that was announced back in May 2021. It will be narrated and executive produced by veteran WWE Superstar John Cena. As of right now, there is no confirmation when the show will premiere, but Campbell said it is sometime later this year.

The series will feature interviews from several WWE Hall of Famers such as The Undertaker, Mick Foley, The Godfather, Randy Orton, and many more. We’ll see how the series turns out; until then, stay tuned.
