CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. It certainly changed the pro wrestling world as many people took notice of the company. It seems CM Punk deleted a very harsh tweet directed at a fan as well.

At AEW Revolution, CM Punk squared off against MJF in a Dog Collar match. When Punk made his entrance, he came out to his old ROH theme AFI’s Miseria Cantare and his ring gear were also from his days in Ring of Honor.

The gear and theme song being part of his ROH days, it is not hard to understand that some fans might not have even seen that aspect of his career. Punk responded to a comment from a fan about the entrance, who asked what the point was.

CM Punk was overly harsh with the fan, stating that the fan is missing a brain. The fan then explained how he had not seen that aspect of his career and then gave props to Punk for what he did. CM Punk ultimately deleted the tweet after realizing what he had done.

Fontaine: “What am I missing with this Punk entrance? #AEWRevolution”

Punk: “A deep understanding of story telling. A brain.”

Fontaine: “I understand the story. I had never seen that part of your ROH career. Now that it’s been explained to me, it’s really awesome for those people that did. This whole storyline has been my favourite feud I’ve seen in over 2 decades and I’ve said that many times.”

CM Punk admitted it was a wonderful moment for him to come out to his ROH music and his old ROH gear, but perhaps Punk should have known better than to be rude to someone who wasn’t aware of his ROH days.
