Christy Hemme has once again started working with IMPACT Wrestling. While the 41-year old diva is no stranger to the world of IMPACT, she will be handling a different role in the promotion.

Gail Kim gave an appearance on the Busted Open Radio on Tuesday, where the fellow IMPACT producer and retired professional wrestler revealed Hemme’s joining at the company. While she said that Hemme is back into the fold with the company, her new backstage role was still vaguely defined.

She’s backstage now and working on a lot of things, helping with some branding stuff and production stuff. It’s great to have. The more women in the office, the better.

The former IMPACT diva spent a decade with the company, from 2006 to 2016. While she announced her in-ring retirement in 2009, which she confirmed again, she worked as an interviewer backstage as well as did ring announcements.

Hemme was named “Knockout of the Year” in 2006. While she had a brief run with WWE after winning WWE’s Diva Search in 2004 and getting a contract deal, she was let go by the company after being assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Kim Gail and Christy Hemme paired with WWE star Lita to launch a scripted TV show titled KAYfABE. The show featured a female-led pro-wrestling start up trying to make their way to the top, though it failed to keep up financially. She gave birth to quadruplets back in 2018.
