Ricochet Was Nearly Blind In One Eye During WWE Intercontinental Title Match

Ricochet has been regarded as one of the best in-ring competitors in the history of WWE. His excellent series of matches against John Morrison on Monday Night RAW back in July of last year raised his stock in the eyes of fans. It seems he was almost blind in one eye during his most recent match as well.

He has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer and made a name for himself in various promotions. This is especially the case in NJPW and Lucha Underground.

Ricochet made his way to Friday Night Smackdown and finally on this week’s show, he defeated Sami Zayn to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Ricochet took to Twitter and revealed that he lost the contact lens in his right eye during the match and wrestled almost blind in one eye.

Speaking of contacts. My right contact came out really early in last nights battle. So I had was half blind for 3/4 of it.

WWE also has yet to decide on WrestleMania 38 plans for Ricochet. We will have to wait and see how Ricochet will fare as the WWE Intercontinental Champion in the coming weeks as we near WrestleMania 38.
