WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is without a doubt one of the best technical pro wrestlers the pro wrestling industry has ever seen. He is also a controversial wrestler whose views haven’t always been seen in the best of ways. It seems CM Punk took a shot at Goldberg for ending Bret Hart’s career as well.

WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart had bitter feelings about Goldberg for several years as Bret Hart suffered a concussion after Goldberg hit him with a botched kick during a match at Starrcade in 1999.

Due to this, Bret Hart suffered post-concussion syndrome, which effectively ended his in-ring career. Bret Hart went on record and said that Goldberg’s work rate was “0/10.”

While speaking during the post-AEW Revolution media scrum, CM Punk brought up Bret Hart and how he believed his career was cut short. He then took a shot at Goldberg without directly naming him.

“I love Bret Hart. Bret Hart’s career was cut short. And it’s a god d**n tragedy because there’s people who go over to Saudi Arabia and they get paid millions of dollars. And that should of been Bret, ya know?”

We will never know how much pro wrestling would have been different had Bret Hart still been able to wrestle and not get injured at the hands of Goldberg. Regardless, Bret Hart had previously forgiven Goldberg for what he did as well and no longer has any ill feelings towards him.
