Rousey and Flair have had a heated rivalry. They also have a lot of history between them, having main evented WrestleMania 35 in a triple threat with Becky Lynch. There has been plenty of hype for the huge SmackDown Women’s Championship match.
WWE is always looking for a way to cash in on their biggest superstars. The latest attempt to do so comes in the form of a new marketing tactic for Ronda Rousey. The former UFC Champion is being promoted as the “Hot Mama.” Dave Meltzer talked about it on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio.
“You know the big thing with Ronda Rousey is, she’s being marketed as ‘The Hot Mama.’ They’re selling those shirts and everything now, yes.”
Ronda Rousey is one of the most popular athletes on the planet. It makes sense that they would want new merch for WrestleMania season. It turns out they took Ronda’s real-life entry into parenthood as inspiration for the latest marketing move.
WWE fans can pick up a Ronda Rousey “Hot Mama” t-shirt on WWE’s official shop. The new gear runs for $27.99. Ronda will be looking to add the SmackDown Women’s Championship to her growing family at WrestleMania.
