Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler worked hard to establish themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

FTR was known as The Revival in WWE and had tremendous success in NXT as the NXT Tag Team Champions as they competed against several great teams. It was clear that the two were not happy in the company anymore.

After being underutilized to a great extent on the main roster, they were finally granted their release by WWE back in 2020 and eventually made their way to AEW.

While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Cash Wheeler recalled the time KENTA broke his jaw during a match where The Revival squared off against KENTA and Shinsuke Nakamura. Wheeler revealed that KENTA immediately apologized to him numerous times after that.

”The GTS was the very last thing of the match anyway. Like I was coming in, that, Kinshasa, that was it. You know, no matter what, it was going to be the last thing to happen to me and it just so happen to be the thing that put me in wires for two months.

“He felt so bad about it. I had the video somewhere, I still might have it, but as soon as – like, as soon as it happens, you can see I’m out on my feet like I’m like Frankenstein. Then I fall to my a**, and like, as I’m falling, I kind of coming back to, and I grab my mouth, and roll off the apron, and he comes around the other side. He grabs me, he hugs me, and he pulls me to the floor and he’s saying, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry’. Like, he felt so bad.”

FTR also consider themselves the best tag team in the world and it is not difficult to understand why. We will have to wait and see whether FTR will get to win the AEW Tag Team Titles again in the future as fans feel they deserve another run with the titles.
