Ring Of Honor shocked the pro wrestling world to its core when it announced that it was going to undergo a reimagining. This led to the company releasing all of its talents at the same time. It seems Wardlow has high hopes for Ring Of Honor now.
AEW President Tony Khan shocked the world as he announced that he has purchased the entirety of Ring Of Honor on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It was said he paid a lot of money for ROH as well.
While speaking to The Wrestling Inc. Daily, Wardlow talked about Tony Khan’s acquisition of Ring Of Honor. Wardlow stated that he believes the company will thrive like never before.
“I think it is awesome, just for the world of wrestling in general. We have obviously seen what Tony can do with a product. So, I believe Ring Of Honor is about to thrive like never before.
I would just like to see another quality wrestling product. Another, not just another option, but a real option, like a good option, and an enjoyable, entertaining option. An alternative for wrestling. Just something a little different, man. There’s so much talent in the business of wrestling, and there’s so many free agents, I feel like Ring Of Honor is going to be a great place for all of these people to go, and shine, like they deserve.”
ROH’s Supercard Of Honor and TV tapings will still be happening after Tony Khan’s acquisition. We will have to wait and see whether ROH will truly thrive with Khan as its new owner or not.
