Vince McMahon made a rare appearance on The Pat McAfee show Thursday. The WWE head honcho discussed a wide range of topics including inducting The Undertaker into the Hall of Fame this year.

Vince also talked about his family’s involvement in the wrestling business. His wife Linda, as well as children Shane and Stephanie, have been part of the company in some capacity, whether it’s on-screen or behind the scenes.

“You have to be objective, you know, and look at family members or whoever it is just as you would other employees. And quite frankly, I’ve probably expected more, you know out of my family members, which is probably not the right thing to say. But nonetheless, it’s like, you have to do the right thing for the business. So if this person is not working out, then they shouldn’t be a part of the company.”

It is worth mentioning here that Vince and Shane had a falling out behind the scenes during the 2022 Royal Rumble. The elder McMahon reportedly shot down ideas Shane proposed for the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Shane was quietly relieved of his responsibilities following his disastrous power trip at the Rumble. It is unknown if he will appear on WrestleMania or any future WWE event in any capacity.
