Austin Theory had a memorable run in NXT where he was part of Johnny Gargano’s stable, The Way. He would eventually make his way to the main roster and his fortunes increased from there. It seems Theory opened up about his huge spot at WWE Elimination Chamber as well.

Austin Theory has been engaged in a storyline with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon ever since Survivor Series concluded last year. It also featured him getting slapped by Vince McMahon. Many fans believe Theory is on the cusp of greatness as well.

At the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, Austin Theory competed for the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match. He was the last one to be eliminated in the match after Brock Lesnar hit an F5 on Theory from the top of a pod and finished him off to become the WWE Champion.

While speaking with WWE Germany’s Sebastian Hackl, Austin Theory talked about his insane spot at the WWE Elimination Chamber match. Theory admitted that the spot didn’t feel right for him.

“I don’t think the human body is supposed to spin like the top of a helicopter. Yeah, I don’t know. I’m just, like, ‘This doesn’t feel right,’ that’s all I know. I was like, ‘Here we are. Okay.’ Have you ever seen the funny videos where they’re, like, ‘And at this moment, he realized he [f****d] up.’ That was me. That’s where time paused and I was, like, ‘This is it.’”

Austin Theory is also expected to be involved in Vince McMahon and Pat McAfee’s feud at WrestleMania 38. Fans would love to see Theory get elevated to a top-level eventually as well.
