WWE has released yet another corporate member from the company. PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson reports that Lisette Pineda, who served as the manager of Global Talent Strategy and Development, was recently released by the company.
Pineda had been working with WWE for only two years, starting off in January 2020. Her work kept her in close proximity to Triple H, who is the Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy and Development.
Lisette worked with Goldman Sachs in the Banks and Specialty Finance section prior to joining WWE. With the reinvention of NXT, WWE has been making many changes to its talent strategy and development program this year.
WWE issued a statement during the releases, as this is not the first of the corporate releases which are part of the evolution of NXT 2.0. WWE said in the statement that:
With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.
The company release William Regal back in January, who was the Director of Talent Development and Head of Global recruiting. WWE took a step forward and even released consolidated figures such as Samoa Joe and Road Dogg.
