Finn Balor will challenge Damian Priest for the United States Championship on tonight’s RAW. Last week Priest offered any World Champion calibre star a shot at his title and Balor was quick to step-up. Can Balor win the United States Championship for the first time? Or will this start a feud that will run to WrestleMania where the Demon faces the Damian?
Elsewhere tonight WWE hasn’t announced anything, but we do know Edge said he will be at the show to wait for his WrestleMania opponent to emerge. Moreover, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will continue to butt heads, Kevin Owens should berate Texas even more, Logan Paul may make an appearance alongside The Miz, and sadly Brock Lesnar isn’t scheduled to appear, although that doesn’t mean he won’t.
And that’s the preview for tonight’s RAW. Our live coverage will begin from 8PM right here. Let us know if you’re excited about any of it and remember to hit the refresh link below and enjoy the show!
Monday Night Raw begins with Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins coming out to a ring for a new episode of the Kevin Owens Show – KO is wearing a cowboy hat sideways.
Owens welcomes us to the show but says this hasn’t been a good year for him and Rollins as of yet. They’re the two biggest stars in the history of WWE and neither of them have a match for WrestleMania. Rollins agrees and says they’ve been screwed over-and-over again, but they have one last hand to be dealt. All they have to do is win the RAW Tag Team Championship’s next week and they’ll have a path to WrestleMania.
Owens says he’s heard people saying his hatred for Texas will distract him but nothing will distract him from winning the Tag Titles. He says not even Texas legends like JBL or Shawn Michaels, or even the dumb hat he’s wearing – which he then takes off and jumps on. Rollins laughs before introducing their guests tonight, the RAW Tag Team Champions, Alpha Academy. Gable thanks them for having him on the show for the first time.
Owens tells Gable that he says “thank you” very strangely. Gable says all he’s heard tonight is a couple of asses making assumptions about their title match next week. He says KO and Rollins weaseled their way into the title match and explains how to all the “idiots” in the crowd who went to Ohio State University. Gable says the two of them are bitching about not having a match at WrestleMania but both of them have been there multiple times, neither he nor Otis have had matches at the big show.
Rollins says Alpha Academy can face him and Owens at WrestleMania after they take their titles next week. Gable gets angry and tells them to shoosh. Owens doesn’t like that and it leads to Gable and Owens both yelling shoosh at each other repeatedly, then Owens hits Gable with a Stunner! Otis is ready to throw down as we head to the break.
