Roman Reigns’ stock continues to rise by the day since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam in 2020. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans wanted it for so long

The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

Roman Reigns has been the WWE Universal Champion for over 500 days now and it has done a lot to improve his confidence in his character as well. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry talked about Roman Reigns’ character work and compared him to Shawn Michaels as far as confidence on the mic goes.

“Roman is at a level in his understanding of who he is that we genuinely have not seen since Shawn Michaels most likely. Shawn Michaels had all the ultimate confidence when he cut a promo. He was glib sometimes, but he was never very sinister with his promos. He wanted to embarrass you, he wanted to let you know his Greatness. He is cutting promos at that level even the last two years. Roman Reigns has been a planet with his own gravitational pool is what I say. Roman gave me a feeling of I’m in control of this.”

It remains to be seen whether Brock Lesnar will end up becoming both the WWE and Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38 as fans have been waiting to see Roman Reigns finally drop his WWE Universal Championship for a long time.
