WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. He is certainly one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever graced the squared circle. He had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches.
He has squared off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer and accomplished a lot. This includes his stars such as ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin as well.
While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about the No Way Out 2002 pay-per-view. Kurt Angle admitted that he had faced difficulties while dealing with the crowd’s ‘What?’ chants.
”Oh yeah! Especially when doing a promo, you know, pausing between these segments, fans chant ‘What?’ So, if you do not want them to chant ‘What?’ you have to run through your promo without pausing, and that can be very difficult to do. But for the most part, you do want the fans to participate. So, the what chants, whether they throw you off or not, you just have to learn to deal with them!”
Angle was released from his role as WWE producer back in 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. It remains to be seen whether he will ever return to WWE as it seems unlikely at this point in time.
