Goldberg is considered a legend by many fans and he is also a WWE Hall of Famer. The former WWE Universal Champion might not have been a fan of pro wrestling at first but eventually came to appreciate it as an art form. It seems Goldberg has been accused of a huge thing recently as well.
Bill Goldberg started his career back in WCW during the late 90s and cemented himself as an unstoppable force there. He eventually made his way to WWE in 2003 where he even won the World Title.
Goldberg left the company in 2004 and returned again in 2016, where he has competed in numerous high profile matches. While speaking on his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree claims that Goldberg separated Dupree’s collarbone during a segment with La Resistance in 2003.
“Did you get out alive? Because I got a separated collarbone from working with Goldberg. What happened was we did a backstage vignette with me, Rob, and Sly and then Goldberg was the ‘USA, USA’representative, and he grabbed our flag and we did five takes and he hit me across the shoulder every single time, right here where your collarbone connects.’
Seriously, he hit me so hard, like three or four times in a row to where it actually f****** detached my collarbone. I was living in Louisville. We had a team doctor there. We had to go get a cortisone shot. Cortisone, man, long-term it does more harm than good, right? Because it just eats at your joints.”
Goldberg is also a free agent following his loss to the Tribal Chief. It remains to be seen whether Goldberg will return to WWE television again one day or not.
