Southern California is All Elite. The Young Bucks announced on today’s episode of Being The Elite that Tony Khan’s promotion will be making their Los Angeles-area debut on June 3, 2022. The announcement comes after years of speculation about when AEW would make their presence felt on the west coast.
Speculation has been running rampant that an announcement of west coast dates would come soon. The Bucks announced that they had a huge live event reveal coming up on this week’s episode of BTE. That announcement has fans in sunny southern California feeling great on what would otherwise be just another Monday Morning. Matt Jackson delivered the news.
“Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for June 3rd. Rampage live will be here in our hometown of Rancho Cucamunga, Ontario, California. Get ready.”
Nick Jackson then announced that the show was taking place at the Toyota Arena. The Young Bucks promised that they would be in the main event. This will be AEW’s first trip to the Los Angeles area.
Many expected to hear that the venue would be the Los Angeles Forum. The original southern California venue that AEW even once had a date hold on was the Toyota Arena. It turns out the promotion will make its debut exactly as it was rumored long ago.
The Staples Center was out of the question as they appear to be working exclusively with WWE. AEW has found its way into other arenas that WWE runs. The UBS Arena in New York and the just-announced date at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit are among those shared venues.
AEW fans in Los Angeles have been waiting for this moment for a long time. It is finally almost here. All Elite Wrestling is finally heading to the west coast.
