AEW got the ball rolling at Double Or Nothing 2019 and since then the company has done all it could to provide a product that true lovers of pro wrestling would enjoy. There has been a lot of growth seen over the past two years and more is yet to come. It seems AEW had interesting plans for Double Or Nothing in Los Angeles as well.
The company has managed to make headlines since AEW All Out last year thanks to its numerous high profile signings, including the likes of Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson and most recently – Keith Lee.
According to a report by Fightful Select, the company discussed holding the Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Los Angeles the Forum in Inglewood, as well as Ontario, California leading up to the show. The discussions were had as far back as AEW All Out last year.
AEW Double or Nothing was announced as taking place at T-Mobile Arena this year, a big upgrade from the MGM Grand. Fightful first heard discussion of this as a possibility during All Out weekend in Chicago last year. We’d also heard of discussions of possibly running Los Angeles at the Forum in Inglewood, as well as Ontario, California leading up to the show. We aren’t sure if those discussions ever led to plans coming to fruition, but they were spoken of as far back as All Out as well.
AEW Double or Nothing will be taking place at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada on May 29th this year. We will have to wait and see how the event will turn out to be, as it promises to be a solid one.
