Mick Foley has had many memorable characters over the years. One such character was Dude Love. He introduced the world to this gimmick in 1997. He came up with the creation in childhood and wished to portray it as a professional wrestler.

Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy recently filed a trademark on Cactus Jack, but now he is laying down a trademark on another one of his three faces. This time he wants Dude Love, a character that Vince McMahon’s company made famous, but he created on his own when he was a child jumping off his parents’ roof.

Foley has filed for the trademark protection for the Dude Love character to own the intellectual property over it for wrestling and merchandise purposes. Here are the details of the filing:

In his first match as Dude Love, Foley ended up winning the Tag Titles with Steve Austin against The British Bulldog and Owen Harts. Earlier this week, Foley filed a similar trademark on his gimmick, Cactus Jack.
