Many considered Cesaro as one of the most criminally underrated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. The Swiss Superman has shown time and time again why he is one of the best in-ring performers in the company. Now it seems Vince McMahon never thought much of Cesaro.

It came to such a point that even WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley said he would literally get on his knees and beg Vince McMahon to give Cesaro a chance in the company.

Cesaro was a multi-time tag team champion and has won the WWE United States Championship as well. However, in his 8-year tenure in WWE, Cesaro never got to win a world title in the company.

As reported earlier, Cesaro left WWE as he let his contract expire and did not renew it. According to Wrestling News, Vince McMahon was never on board with pushing Cesaro to the main event scene in WWE.

“Vince McMahon was never on board with pushing him as a top guy and the feeling was that he was just a “good hand” but not someone who could be seen as a main eventer.”

The WWE locker room is filled with shock and dismay over Cesaro’s WWE departure as well. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Swiss Superman.
