Kevin Owens is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he made a name for himself in the independent circuit, including ROH, before making his way to WWE in 2014. Owens has had a solid career in the company so far. He is also very passionate about pro wrestling in general.

As many fans are aware, Kevin Owens made his debut on Monday Night RAW against John Cena in 2015. Owens was the NXT Champion at that time. He made his shocking debut on RAW by answering John Cena’s United States Championship open challenge.

Fans were certainly elated at his debut and gave a huge pop. Owens dropped John Cena during their confrontation and then stomped on the US title while holding up his NXT Championship. He ended up defeating John Cena in his main roster debut as well.

Kevin Owens took to Twitter and recalled defeating John Cena in his first match with the company. Owens then revealed the only thing he regrets about the match, which turned out to be it being held in Texas.

I beat John Cena in my first match in @WWE. Unbelievable moment. I’ll never forget it. It’s something I’ll look back on fondly forever but there is a dark cloud around that memory, just one thing I wish I could change… I wish it would have happened anywhere but Texas
