Cody Rhodes left WWE and many are expecting him to come back to WWE. That has not happened yet, but many have remained hopeful.
Fightful Select reports that WWE employees are quick to say “if Cody Rhodes comes in” and “if Cody Rhodes” instead of saying anything definite that Cody Rhodes is 100% coming into the company. That being said, Cody Rhodes is not listed for SmackDown tonight.
We haven’t heard of them. Last we heard, he wasn’t listed on the script for Smackdown tonight, either. Those obviously change a lot.
Talent in WWE still believe that Cody Rhodes is coming in, but nothing on an official level indicates that he has signed anything. We will have to see what happens next, but the road to WrestleMania will obviously include a lot of anticipation for the unexpected.
