Brock Lesnar made his triumphant return during the SummerSlam pay-per-view after a hiatus of over one year. For the most part, Lesnar has been feuding with Roman Reigns since his return. It seems Ric Flair has a very high opinion of Brock Lesnar.
The Beast Incarnate has been displaying a much cooler and laidback character ever since his return. Fans are certainly enjoying his current run as a babyface and there is a good reason for that.
While speaking on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair talked about Brock Lesnar’s current run as a babyface. Flair stated that he believes Brock Lesnar could be on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s level if he worked full-time as a babyface.
“Legitimately solid promo. Oozes confidence which we all know he has a lot of that. Yes [on Lesnar being a good babyface]. Let me put it this way for you to understand, a good babyface never goes out and promises something he is unable to deliver. You go out there and predict something, nobody predicts anything – you say what you think, you let the people draw their conclusion. He is so powerful right now as a babyface. He may be – if he works full-time and elected to spend more time – I do genuinely believe that Lesnar could be at the same level in another year, if he stays like he is now, like Steve [Austin] as far as being ‘over.'”
Brock Lesnar is set to square off against Roman Reigns in a winner take all match at WrestleMania 38. It remains to be seen who will end up becoming both the WWE and Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38.
