AEW’s Paul Wight, formerly known as The Big Show in WWE, is all set to produce and star in a forthcoming live-action series being made into a NFT known as “GenZeroes.” He has been involved in many ventures in his life, but now Paul Wight is branching out into an emerging new space.
As reported by Deadline, Wight would join Richard Harmon (The 100), Kandsye McClure (Battlestar Galactica), Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica The 100), and Aleks Paunovic (Hawkeye) as a member of the cast.
The plot of the series “will be set 200 years after an alien invasion devastated Earth, with ten factions fighting for control of the future of the human race. Wight will play Thatch, who is “a warrior’s warrior and a natural leader when it comes to combat.”
The show will be run by Matt Venables and Jeremy Smith as executive producers alongside Neil Stevenson-Moore and Paunovic. Directed by Kimani Ray Smith and produced by Kibaa. The project is presently being filmed in Vancouver and set to debut in March.
The series will be one of the first live-action NFT shows. It is planned to have ten episodes and features motion graphic comic books as supplemental content. To watch it, the fans will be required to purchase an NFT on the House of Kibaa website.
