WWE Hall Of Famer Edge is certainly one of the most established Superstars in the company’s history. He has done it all as far as being a pro wrestler is concerned. It seems was helped by FTR prior to making his comeback as well.

Since Edge returned to WWE back in 2020, he has remained a highlight of WWE television. His battles with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton received a lot of praise as well.

While speaking with The Sessions with Renee Paquette Podcast, Dax Harwood talked about his relationship with Edge. Harwood revealed that he and Cash Wheeler helped Edge prepare for his in-ring return as well.

“We have been friends with [Edge] for a very long time. But he called both of us and he said ‘Hey, there’s not too many people in wrestling that I trust, I would love for you guys to come to Dr. Tom’s and work around with me. I know you won’t take it easy on me and I need to know if I’m actually going to be able to do this.’

It was obviously an honor. As much of a friend as he is to us, I always say like it never goes away that a hero, who is a friend, a hero of mine wants us to work with him or help us get ready or comes to see Rock ‘n’ Roll Express vs. FTR or calls us whenever him and Randy are having ‘The Greatest Match of All Time.’ Randy called us to meet them to put this match together with them.”

Jim Cornette also previously stated that FTR is undermined in AEW. We will have to wait and see whether FTR will get to win the AEW Tag Team Titles again in the future as fans feel they deserve another run with the titles.
